Still keeping an eye out for ghosts Pen the cat tries to relax by the fire.
He keeps a watchful eye on the Female ghost that yells turn"Turn out that light" in the middle of the night.
I woke up the other night to a shriek the was either a pain killer induced hallucination or a very angry ghost. Or both.

I think cats actually do keep an eye out for things. My cat acts like she's guarding me a lot of the time - sits near me and watches the door.
and she's ferocious with her no claws and one fang.

Cats are said to walk the underworld so I think thewy have a heads up on ghosts.
I live in an old mansion which is now a bed and breakfast. I hear wierd things alll the time, ive never seen a ghost but odd things happen, noises and odd smells like old cologne. Its strange!
I think cat's could sometimes make you wish you were dead, but not actually walk amongst the dead. ( just joking) I have several of the beautiful beasts. My Deliliah looks just like your pretty fireplace ornament. mrrrrow?

He can be a handful. Although hes up there in years he still fights and plays like hes a little kitten. his new thing is to slide arond on the rugs in the house. Its maddening. I will wake up and most of the rugs have moved from his nightly run and slide playing. He an only kitty so he has to keep himself entertained. it the morning and evening ritual of moving the rugs back to where they belong. Its a game to him .
How cute is that? I want a video clip pronto! I'll post a Delilah piccy on flickr for ya.
