Shoot Day Two

It could not have gone better. I am truly amazed by our cast. They are wonderful actors. All have intense focus and it seems that nothing will break their concentration. The day went as planned if not faster than expected. The shot I have included here is of a rehersal. Our DP and assist are a fantatsic team. These guys set up shots quickly and give tons of options. They know to roll during rehersals and use that time to catch coverage. I'm so happy about this film. Our day started at 7:30am with mimosas and homemade scones, tea and some fruit. We started shooing about 845am and were done by 11:30am. Thanks to the skillful direction of Scott Mabbutt we were able to bust thru pages of dialog at a record clip.

Next friday we are back to shooting at our Absinthe bar!

Dubai,
Its not your imagination. We had the crew and the equipment for sunday but the location was not available. We shot pick ups in the morning. The girls were cold during rehersal so... robe. The have these little nighties on and it was a cold morning. We return to our normal location next this friday.

Marko,
I'm happy too. We just seem to role with the punches. The cast is outstanding. I've never seen actors so dedicated and without the usual actor bullshit. No drama just pure talent pouring out of them.

Sangroncito,

To date there is no absinthe bar in Los Angeles. We are trying to stay ahead of the curve by setting this in a fictional speak easy. In L.A. its not uncommon for a venue to host different clubs on any given night. sometimes these clubs travel from place to place. We took it one step further. Perhaps this film will spark a new type of club?
